Vickey Lee Rhodes

Vickey Lee Rhodes, age 37 of Spartanburg, SC, formerly of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2011. She was born in Chicago, IL on December 27, 1973, daughter of Faye Dean Dotson and the late Charles Edward Rhodes, Sr. In addition to her father; she was also preceded in death by a stepfather, Carl Dotson, and a nephew, Caden Wilson.

Vickey was a store manager for Kangaroo Convenience Stores at the time of her death in Spartanburg.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Winn, and a daughter, Alex Winn, both of Alabama; four brothers, Charles Rhodes, Jr. and his wife Kristi of Calhoun, Daniel Rhodes and his wife Becky of Calhoun, Scottie Rhodes and his wife Crissy of Rome, and Johnny Rhodes of Alabama; and her mother, Faye Dean Dotson of Athens, TN. Other survivors include a step-sister, Ashley Wilson and her husband Paul of Florida, Hillary Rhodes, Zane Rhodes, Halle Rhodes, Breanna Rhodes, Summer Rhodes, River Rhodes, Ivey Rhodes, Christopher Rhodes, Chelsea Rhodes, Kamryn Rhodes, and Chandler Rhodes.

A memorial service to honor the life of Vickey Lee Rhodes will be held Thursday, September 22nd at 6:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12:00 noon until the service hour of 6:00pm.
