Mrs. Virginia Ann Hunt, 64, of Calhoun, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at her home. She was born in Fulton County, GA on August 6, 1952, daughter of the late Henry Dave and Iris Donavon Youngblood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Youngblood; sisters, Rachel Harris and Vera Youngblood; a grandson, Nathan Trevor Floyd Hunt; and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Hunt; her sons, Floyd Hunt and Michelle Hunt, Lee Hunt III and Maria Payne; and David Hunt, all of Calhoun; her daughter, Terry Hunt of Calhoun; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Patricia Youngblood of Warner Robins; sisters, Mary Jo Youngblood of Florida, and Deloris Wainwright of Warner Robins; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces, Lynn Spires Luyo, Debbie Spires, and Carmen Hunt; nephews, Bubba Hunt and Jimmy Harrison; brothers-in-law, Jessie Spires, Herman Hunt, and Bobby Hunt; and many other relatives and friends.
Services to honor the life of Mrs. Virginia Ann Hunt will be held Thursday, July 20th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with family members officiating. Interment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park, with Rev. Jamey Hunt officiating. Pallbearers serving will include Lee Hunt III, Floyd Hunt, Donald Montgomery, Edward Youngblood, Maria Payne, and Julie Carlson.
The Hunt family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 19th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
