Virginia Mae Rogers Adcock

Mrs. Virginia Mae Rogers Adcock, 88 of Calhoun, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at Calhoun Health Care. She was born in Bartow County on November 20, 1928, daughter of the late Ervin and Myrtle Chapman Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Adcock in 1983; her son, Jackie Adcock; a step-son, W.A. Adcock; and siblings, Ethel Rogers, J.D. Rogers, Rass Rogers, and Alvin Rogers.
Mrs. Adcock was a member of Eastgate Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Judy Adcock of Fairmount; granddaughters, Carrie Adcock and Jaclyn Adcock; step-grandchildren, Laura and Leslie Adcock, Chasity Parker Redding, and Jonathon Parker; and great-great grandchildren, Alex Parker, Brodi Adcock, Kaiden Stanley, Fallon Cameron, and Jace Adcock.
Services to honor the life of Mrs. Virginia Mae Rogers Adcock will be held Thursday, March 16th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenny Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Jonathon Parker, Leslie Adcock, Harvey Petty, Chris Bonds, Zac Sims, Jackie Gravley, and J.D. "Rooster" Rogers, Jr.
The Adcock family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 15th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
