Mrs. Virginia Mary Woolhiser, age 79 of Kingston, died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at her residence following several months of declining health. She was born in Cobleskill, NY on July 15, 1931, daughter of the late Earl and Marietta Bliven Rose. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Earl J. Rose, Jr. and Robert Rose and his wife Alice.
`Mrs. Woolhiser was a retired bookkeeper, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim McDowell and her husband Norman of Glendive, Montana, and Vicki Seritt and her husband Marvin of Kingston; and a sister, Margaret Hudson and her husband William of Florida. Grandchildren surviving are Nicole Harrison and her husband Rick, Travis McDowell and his wife Ann, Shannon Larson and her husband Devin, Tana Thorne and her husband Nathan, Tammy Werlein and her husband Josh, Marvin Seritt, Jr., Kalee Smith Christopher Seritt and his wife Hannah, Landon Wells, and Cordell Seritt; and great-grandchildren, Blake Harrison, Madison McDowell, Ashlyn Harrison, Zachary McDowell, Case Smith, Mariah Werlein, Ryleigh Larsen, Mason Werlein, and Brynley McDowell.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Mary Woolhiser will be conducted Thursday, February 10th at 2:00pm from the Fain Cemetery, with Marvin Seritt and Norman McDowell officiating. Music will be arranged by David Newby. Active pallbearers are Landon Wells, Jose Cruz, Marvin Seritt, Jr., Christopher Seritt, Norman McDowell, and Marvin Seritt. Honorary escorts will be Cordell Seritt and Travis McDowell.
