Vivian Lee (Edwards) Brown, 79, of Plainville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025. She was born in Plainville, Georgia, on January 17, 1945, to the late H.R. Edwards and Nellie Conaway Edwards Bailey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Brian Brown; and daughter, Susan Deelynn Brown as well as her stepdad, Otis Charles Bailey who she considered like a dad.

Vivian was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Plainville, Georgia. She loved working and watching gameshows. 

Vivian is survived by her sons, Edward Dwayne Brown and Keith Blake Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal Leigh and Bobby Keith Smith; grandchildren, Jacob Aaron Brown (Kayla Rickett), Joshua Grant Smith (Amanda Danielle Smith), Kacee Smith Bradford (Adam Jerrid Bradford), Matthew Shane Brown, and Amber Lee Marvel (Travis Garnett); great-grandchildren, Owen Charles Bradford, Bailee Ruth Smith, and Evan Ray Bradford; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. 

The funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2024, at 3:00 PM from Fellowship Baptist Church in Plainville, Georgia, with Rev. Doug Mattox officiating. Amber Lee will be in charge of musical arrangements. Her body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery. Pallbearers are Josh Smith, Jacob Brown, Travis Garnett, Shane Watson, Billy Wiseman, and Dustin Harmon. 

The family would like to give a special thanks to Pruitt Hospice.
