Vivian Morgan Champion, 87, died on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017. She was born in Atlanta, GA, on July 8, 1930; Vivian was the daughter of the late Frank and Carrie Powers Morgan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Joyce Wills and Ann Jones, two brothers; Frank Morgan, and Gordon Morgan and by a son-in-law, Jacky Parker.
Survivors include three daughters, Sonja Champion Parker of Calhoun, Juanita Champion Bryant of Calhoun and Lynne Champion Nesbitt and her husband, Richie; one son, Randy Champion and his wife Pam of Santan Valley, AZ; step-son, Mike Champion; grandchildren, Trey Hicks, Matthew Parker, Leigh Parker Watson, Nathan Goswick, Colie Bryant, Zeth Roberson, Zane Roberson, Jessica Roberson, Ethan Champion; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Hicks, Preston Terrette, Caitlyn Watson, Parker Watson, Beau Bullard, Rusch Goswick, Hayden Roberson, Matti Parker, Quaid Arseneau and Maddyn Roberson; special nieces, Sue, Deb, Cindy and other relatives.
Funeral will be held Thursday, September 28th at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers serving will include the grandsons, Zeth, Zane, Ethan, Trey, Matthew and Nathan. Music will be arranged by Ron and Faye Pierce Bentley.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, 711 College Street, Calhoun, GA. 30701.
