Walter Eugene Hyde

Mr. Walter Eugene Hyde, age 73 of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born in Bartow County, GA on May 2, 1939, son of the late Fiest W. and Pearlie Mae Trammell Hyde. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Thomas; brothers, William B. Hyde and Jimmy Hyde; and a sister, Dorothy Mae Hyde.

Survivors include five sons, Richard Hyde, Shane Hyde, Dusty Hyde, Donnie Joe Hyde, and Tommy Hyde; three daughters, Wanda Hyde, Reena Garret, and Teresa Swindle; five brothers, Charles Hyde, Jackie Hyde, Joel Hyde, Bobby Hyde, and Billy Joe Hyde; and two sisters, Helen Roberts and Geraldine Easterwood.

Funeral services for Mr. Walter Eugene Hyde will be held Thursday, February 21st at 7:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.

The Hyde family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00pm until the service hour of 7:00pm.
