Walter Vann Parker

Mr. Walter Vann Parker Sr. age 51 died Tuesday March 5, 2013 following a brief illness. Mr. Parker was born in Bartow county on April 2, 1961, son of the late Solomon Parker and Lenar Collum Parker. In addition to his parents Mr. Parker is preceded in death by his brothers Larry Parker and Harold Parker. A son Walter Parker Jr., and a grandchild Arianna Jones.

Survivors include sons Justin Parker of Summerville, GA, Wesley Parker of Calhoun, GA.. Daughters Ashley Jones and her husband Aron of Calhoun, and Claudia Parker of Ringgold, GA.. A brother Allen Parker and his wife Carolyn. Grandchildren James Jones, Ashlyn Jones, Preston Parker, Andrew Parker, Elizabeth Morgan, Kaitlyn Morgan, Landon Morgan, and Bella Hall.

Funeral services will be conducted 1p.m. Friday from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Nick Shepherd officating. Active pallbearers include Johnthon Morgan, Jermy Tidwell, Cody Jones, Jesse Jones, Stetson Hicks, and Richard Gilbert. Honorary pallbearer will be Jessie Morgan.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 11a.m. til 1p.m.
