Wanda Mcclure Johnson

June 30, 1950 — March 31, 2015

Mrs. Wanda McClure Johnson, 64 of Calhoun, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her home following several weeks of declining health. She was born in Gilmer County, GA on June 30, 1950, daughter of the late Lawrence and Ramey Hensley McClure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edward Johnson; brothers, Jerry, Bobby, and Billy McClure; and sisters, Jewel McClure, Mary Sheriff, and Juanita Boykin.

Mrs. Johnson was retired from Waffle House as a waitress.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Johnathon and Jennifer Page of Calhoun; three daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Martin Noe, Rhonda and Kirby Craig, and Laura Yates, all of Calhoun; grandchildren, Rebecca Stanfield, Kevin Kirby, Preston Hood, Alicia Page, Dalton James, Anna Belle Page, and Allison Page; and great-grandchildren, Hoyden, Braxton, and Cameron Stanfield. Two sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews also survive.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Wanda McClure Johnson will be held Saturday, April 4th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Roger Burnley officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery at Hall Memorial. Active pallbearers include Craig Kirby, Richard Arthur, Dalton Jones, Adam Stanfield, Martin Noe, and Roger Burnley. Johnathon Bryan Page will serve as honorary pallbearer.

The Johnson family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 3rd from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
