Obituary

Wanda Waddell, 64, of Calhoun died at Redmond Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. She was born on March 4, 1956 in Fulton County to the late John David Shaw and Genell Alexander Dawson.
She was a member of Cup of Life Worship Center. She was a loving sister, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Kaitlyn Waddell of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Jeannette Cochran; sisters and brother-in-laws, Dorothy and Preston Aker, Elizabeth and Doug Miltimore, and Misty Leatherwood; grandchildren, Autumn Ledford and Aubrey Waddell; second mother, Diane Shaw; other family members also survive.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Plainview Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Preston Aker and Pastor Greg Free will officiate. Pallbearers include, Keith Cochran, Isaac Leatherwood, Doug Miltimore, Neil Waddell, and John Simmons.
