Obituary

Wanda Johnson Tate, 74, of Calhoun, Georgia died Monday, May 25, 2020. Wanda was born April 1, 1946 to Dolly Smith Johnson and the late Harold Johnson. Wanda was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and worked for many years at Echota Fabric. She enjoyed shopping with her daughters. Mrs. Tate was preceded in death by one sister; Ivanell Hammonds.
She is survived by her husband Hughdon Tate; daughters, Kimberly Pelfrey (Scott) and Mitzi Floyd; grandchildren, Kenny Bailey, Brent Bailey, Britney Floyd, Elijah Floyd, Harmony Woods, Aliyah Woods; three great-granddaughters and three great-grandsons; other relatives and friends.
Due to the Covid- 19 pandemic an invitation only service will be held. The Funeral service will be live streamed on the face book page of Max Brannon and sons Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
