Wanda Vaughn Mathis

Wanda Vaughn Mathis, 56, of Calhoun died on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Mount Berry Hospice, following several months of declining health. Wanda was born in Cartersville on February 11, 1961. Her grandson, Dakota Burdett, preceded her in death.
Wanda is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Stacey Vaughn Burdett and Harley Burdett; Ashley Nicole Mathis, and Amber Mathis Parker and Tyler Parker; her father, JW Vaughan; her mother, Linda O. Vaughn; her grandchildren, Rallye Laine Burdett, Rayce Talon Burdett, and Talia Lynn Parker; her brothers and sister-in-law, Charles Vaughn, and Kevin and Tammy Vaughn; her niece, Dallas Makayla Lee Vaughn.
The Mathis family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Burial will be a private service at Chandler Cemetery. Rev. Wesley Hunt will officiate.
