William Bradley (Bo) Carter, age 27 of Resaca, passed away December 1, 2008 following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Whitfield County on June 15, 1981, son of William Lee and Brenda Stevens Carter. Bo was employed by the Beaulieu Corporation. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Billy Stevens and T.J. Hall.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Ann Hicks Carter; two sons, Bradley Dakota Carter and Nicholas Gauge Carter; his parents, Marc and Brenda Matchett of Resaca, and William Lee Carter of Pennsylvania; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Tanya Matchett of Resaca; mother-in-law, Edith Ann Hicks; grandmothers, Bobbie Stevens of Resaca and Mary Sue Hall; and aunts and uncles, Donna and Philip Dunagan, Karen and Richard Towe, and Jim and Evelyn Stevens. Great aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for William Bradley (Bo) Carter will be conducted Thursday at 1:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will include Jim Stevens, Richard Hicks, Jr., Adam Stevens, Zachary Delp, and Derrick Davenport. Honorary pallbearers will be Denny Curtis, Mike Weathers, Jeff Gilbert, and Matthew Delp. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
