William Clarence Hall

Mr. William Clarence Hall, age 84 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012. Mr. Hall was born on July 13, 1927 in Murray County. He was a devoted member of New Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lousie Hall, daughter Sherry Quinn Williams, sister Ann Mathis and her husband Lee and sister Janie King. He was preceded in death by his brother Ruben Hall and his wife Mildred, his sister Ora Clark and her husband Marvin and brother-in-law Tom King. Grandchildren Terina Quinn Fowler and Kendra Quinn, great-grandchildren Brooke Fowler and Mackenzie Holland and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Clarence Hall will be held Monday, February 13th at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Bearden and Rev. Clifford Free officiating. Music will be arranged by Donald and Joanne Bowen and Clifford Free. Active pallbearers will include Rodney Mathis, Rodger Mathis, Bobby Hall, Ronald Hall, Pedro Aranda and Mike Busby. Honorary pallbearers include the deacons of New Zion Baptist Church. Internment will follow at Chandler Cemetery with Rev. Gene Smith conducting the graveside service.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Sunday, February 12th from 3:00pm until 8:00pm.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the family of Barry Pence Jr. who donated his heart to Clarence 20 plus years ago, enabling him to spend more time with his family and loved ones.
