William Cothran

Mr. William "Bobby" Cothran III, age 59 of Calhoun, passed away Friday February 26, 2010 at Gordon Hospital.

Mr. Cothran was born in Hamilton County, TN on March 7, 1950, son of the late William Richard Cothran Sr. and Stella Eskew Cothran. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Cavalier.

During his lifetime, he was employed in the textile industry with Superior Swatching, and was a member of Victory Fellowship Church.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Darlene Lambert Cothran; stepsons, Travis Smith and his wife LeaAngela of Resaca, Wilson Garnett and his wife Tabitha, and Ricky Garnett, both of Calhoun; two daughters, Tara Cothran and Kristin Cothran, both of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; a step-daughter, Michelle Stafford and her husband Michelle of Resaca; a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Karen Cothran of Cleveland, Tennessee; and two sisters, Louise Gallman and Ruth Martin, both of Calhoun. Nineteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. William "Bobby" Cothran III will be conducted Sunday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Jimmie Timms, Rev. Terry Timms, and Rev. Brent Davis officiating. Pallbearers will include Harold Cothran, Brian Cothran, James Bradford, Travis Smith, Ricky Garnett, Steve Interrante, and Wilson Garnett. Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Brown, Mitch Roland, James Bonds, and Nick Pece. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 11:00am until the funeral hour of 2:00pm.
