William Kenneth Cronan Sr

Mr. William Kenneth Cronan Sr., 73 of Adairsville, died Saturday, January 23, 2016. He was born in Gordon County on September 4, 1942, son of the late Roy and Ethel Bowen Cronan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mickie Garcia.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army and patrolman for the Calhoun Police Department for 7 years. He was also a member of the Plainville Lodge # 364 F&AM and a member of Shrine (Yaarab Temple) of Atlanta.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Carol Wright Cronan; sons, Will Cronan Jr., of Las Vegas and Chris Cronan of Las Vegas; a daughter, Kahtrina Lowery and her husband Jody of Adairsville; a sister, Shirley Oliver and her husband Anthony of Sugar Valley; a grandchild, Felicia Sprol of Kalamazoo, MI; and a father-in-law, James Denton Wright Sr., of Adairsville.

Graveside services for Mr. William Kenneth Cronan Sr., will be held Tuesday, January 26th at 1:00 PM from Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellijay with Military Honors conducted by the United States Army Honor Guard.

The Cronan family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 25th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM
