Woody Haradon

Mr. Woody Haradon, age 71 of Gaylesville, Alabama passed away Friday, July 25, 2008 at Cherokee Medical Center in Centre, Alabama.

He was born in Early, Iowa on October 1, 1936, son of the late Fayne Eli Haradon and the late Ruby Rhodes Haradon. He was a carpenter by trade with Haradon Custom Cabinets and Molding. He was a minister and graduate of Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and was a member of the World Harvest Church of Calhoun. Mr. Haradon was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Berkler.

He was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Army during the years of 1954 through 1957.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Frances Towe Haradon; three sons and daughters-in-law, Rickey and Cindy Haradon of Ball Ground, GA, Randy Haradon of Dallas, GA and Rusty and Stephanie Haradon of Calhoun; three daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa Haradon of Kennesaw, GA, Tona and Darrell Morgan of Kingston, GA and Tina and Mike Goza of Gaylesville, Alabama; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Myra and Darwin Jones of Rockwell City, Iowa, Bernice Peterson of Marsh Field, Wisconsin, and Russ Berkler of Colorado; grandchildren, Tyler and Shelley Brady, Trevor Brady, Elyse Morgan, Austin Morgan, Jessica and Dave Clare, Mallorie and Andrew York, Katherine Goza, Lindsey Morgan, Katie Morgan, Levi Morgan, Jared Haradon, Landon Haradon, Sheena and Josh Cunningham, Kyle Haradon, Taylor Haradon, Stephen Everett, Meagan Everett, Sean Haradon, Weston Haradon, Serena and Brantley Wilson, Brandon (Buddy) Haradon and Priscilla Haradon. Great grandchildren, Tanner, Lane, Ryann, Tori and Tara Brady, Tyler James Haradon, Logan Goza and Riley York also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Woody Haradon will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00a.m. from the World Harvest Church of Calhoun. Burial will follow the service in the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Gaylesville, Alabama. Active pallbearers are grandsons, and will include Landon Haradon, Jared Haradon, Brandon Haradon, Tyler Brady, Trevor Brady, Levi Morgan, Kyle Haradon, Austin Morgan, Stephen Everett, and Greg Crawford. Honorary pallbearers will include Sean Haradon, Westin Haradon, Josh Cunningham, Andrew York, Dave Clare, and Brantley Wilson. The family will begin receiving friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday at 3:00p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the World Harvest Church of Calhoun, 2335 Red Bud Road, Calhoun, Georgia 30701.
